Shoot 1
In this shoot, I wanted to use nature to influence my photo-shoot. I went out in the morning of a sunny day and went for a walk in my nearest field and woods. i am going to edit them to look more like Modotti's work. I managed to do more close ups than i expected in this shoot and hopefully wont have to crop so much out of the images when i edit them on Photoshop. some of these images are over exposed and/or not in focus properly and will require improvement in my work.

Edits
in my edits i wanted to create the 'golden hour' in my work. i did this so my work would have a golden under toned look, so my work would look similar to Tina Modotti's. I think this was slightly successful however, i feel like i should've dulled my photos down to get Modotti's aesthetic. in all of my edits i adjusted the exposure by using the curve tool, adjusting the hue, saturation and darkness. some of my photos look a bit too red-toned rather than a nice golden brown hue. to further improve my work i feel like i should play around with photoshop more in lesson time. in my buttercup edit, i used the hue/saturation tool to make the image less red and more of an orange/yellow shade. i also decreased the saturation to make it more similar to Tina's work. i liked the way that this final image came out and decided to do this to the rest of my images to mimic Modotti's work properly.
