Composite Images
What is Photoshop?
Image editing software often used to manipulate the captured image to an extent determined by the artist/re-toucher.
Colour balance, contrast, cropping.
Retouching, airbrushing.
Compositing.
Arguably Photoshop can be used in a similar way to Dark room processing of prints. The artist can however manipulate images far beyond the capabilities of conventional dark room techniques.
What is a Digital Composite?
Digital compositing is the process of digitally assembling multiple images to make a final image, typically for print.
i think digital editing can be useful and good to some extent as it can cover up graphic details of images that young children and/or adolescents could see and be upset by. however, people who edit peoples faces and bodies to make them look better makes others feel insecure about their looks and their image. this makes society really insecure because of this issue.

I was drawn to this Composite image as it has a pregnant woman with a piece of flowing fabric covering her top half exposing the stomach. this image has had the background changed to make it look more appealing to the eye.
in this image i had a pictures from the internet which was the tower bridge image an a stock photo of a duck. i used the quick selection tool on the duck image and copied then pasted onto the tower bridge image. i resized the three ducks to make them smaller because i didn't want them to be too large. i then used the eraser tool and had a low opacity to fade out the ducks to make them look like they're in the water.
my idea is to have my dog look smaller than flowers, snails and other small objects an bugs.
